Tea Party, A New Concept For Networking

A new concept proposed by the Communication Committee and approved by the board members is the Tea Party, a networking event.

The Tunisian-British Chamber of Commerce organized on Tuesday 24 May its first “Tea Party” for its members in the presence of HMA Hamish Cowell, British Ambassador. It was an opportunity for the TBCC members and friends to get together in a casual and friendly environment to network and discuss the chamber’s activities and objectives.

Mehdi Ben Abdallah, President of the TBCC said: “The Tunisian British Chamber of Commerce is the chamber of all the members; it is your platform to develop your network, to enhance your business opportunities, and to build the bridges between the Tunisian and the British business communities. I encourage all of you to be active with the chamber to support and work with the board members to make this chamber the best organization to represent you and your interests”. HMA Hamish Cowell said: “The Tunisian-British business relations are important and are getting increased focus from the UK. The potential is important in many sectors, and it is our role to develop it. The appointment by Prime Minister Cameron of a Trade Envoy for Tunisia, Dr. Murrison, was an important signal given to the business community. I am looking forward to a close collaboration between the UK Embassy, the TBCC, and the Trade Envoy to enhance Business opportunities between Tunisia and the UK.”
