Mr Roderick Drummond has been appointed His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Tunisia in succession to Ms Helen Winterton who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment.
Mr Roderick brings a wealth of experience in diplomacy and international relations, having previously served in several countries.
During his meeting with Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad on the 19th September 2024, Mr Roderick Drummond reaffirmed the strength of Tunisian-British relations, which have gained new momentum following the conclusion of the Association Agreement between the two countries in 2019; and the will to set up the mechanisms of this partnership, which will further strengthen bilateral cooperation, on the basis of mutual respect and common interest, particularly in the fields of trade and investment.
